Famcon began life in 1904 as Fowler and Myers Concrete Pipe Co., operating at the corner of Vineyard and Los Angeles Ave., supplying Ventura County with irrigation and industrial products, as well as on-site manufacturing of concrete pipe.

In 1985, Fowler and Myers Concrete Co. officially became Famcon Pipe & Supply, Inc., following a vision of a waterworks materials supply company that focused on the unique needs of municipalities and waterworks industry contractors in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties. Famcon expanded this vision to dry utilities, creating Famcon Utility Supply in 1994.

Now, almost four decades later, Famcon has expanded to two branches and is the largest, locally owned independent waterworks supply house in the California's Central Coast and Ventura Tri-County region.
